Radiothon raises $31,500 for Kincardine Hospital
The annual Radiothon has raised $31,500 in support of the Kincardine Hospital.
Held Friday at Sobeys Kincardine, the event was hosted by the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, and welcomed a number of groups, businesses, organizations and individuals, presenting donations toward a portable ultrasound, valued at $60,900.
Initially, the goal was to raise an additional $7,700 for a blanket warmer. However, the Kincardine Legion has donated enough to cover that purchase.
People enjoyed hot dogs at the barbecue hosted by the Kincardine Lions Club, with all proceeds to the Radiothon.
