No injuries after vehicle ends up on its roof in Lake Huron
(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH TWP, ON) - The Huron County OPP has charged an Arthur youth with dangerous driving, following a single motor vehicle collision in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township.
Sunday, Sept. 14, at 11:55 p.m., the Huron County OPP received the report of a collision involving an automobile that left the west end of Amberley Road and entered Lake Huron.
Police attended the scene and discovered that the involved four-door sedan had left the roadway, rolled, and landed on the roof in the water approximately ten metres from shore. The two occupants had exited the vehicle uninjured.
A 16-year-old youth of Arthur has been charged with Dangerous Operation. The identity of the accused is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Youth Court of Justice – Goderich, Nov. 13.
