Rotary Sharecrows are waiting to accept your donations to the Kincardine Food Bank
The Sharecrows are out and about in the Kincardine community, waiting for your non-perishable donations to the Kincardine Food Bank. But you have only until Halloween night, this Friday, to get the map and take the tour before the event is over.
The Rotary Club of Kincardine is hosting this fund-raiser in support of the food bank and the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.
Business owners and individuals have set up scarecrows in about 40 locations, with bins to collect non-perishable food donations. Since Oct. 20, the public has been encouraged to get the map at
kincardine-rotary-club.sharecrows.org/map and find the scarecrows at each home/school/business in the community, similar to a scavenger hunt.
Saturday afternoon, Nov. 1, the food donations will be dropped off at the food bank, while the money collected from the maps will be donated to the hospital foundation.
Go find the scarecrows, and bring some non-perishable items with you to “feed” them!
