Quilters’ guild donates “Summer Stars” quilt for Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary raffle
The Kincardine Sunset Quilters’ Guild has generously donated a stunning new quilt to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary as a fund-raiser, with raffle tickets on sale now through to the Christmas Boutique next weekend.
The quilt is entitled “Summer Stars” and was sewn by Martha Sol and machine-quilted by Mary Coates. It is 75-inches square and valued at $800. You can view the quilt at the Kincardine Hospital, beside the gift shop, until Nov. 21 when it will be at the boutique at the Inverlyn Lake Estates clubhouse.
Tickets are $5 each; available at the hospital gift shop and at the Christmas Boutique. The draw will be made Nov. 22 at 2 p.m.
Be sure to attend the boutique to buy a ticket on this lovely quilt and support the auxiliary which purchases medical equipment for the Kincardine Hospital.
