South Bruce Grey Health Centre invites applications for board of directors
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre is inviting applications for open positions on its board
of directors.
The health centre is a multi-site, rural hospital organization serving southern Bruce and Grey counties, with four hospital sites in Kincardine, Walkerton, Chesley and Durham.
These hospital sites provide access to care for approximately 44,000 local residents in addition to 10,000 seasonal residents and more than 30,000 tourists annually.
The health centre has a skills-based board of directors, and aims to recruit members with skills, experience, qualities and diversity that are in line with its corporate mission, objectives, and strategic
direction. The board is responsible for the overall governance of the affairs of the health centre.
The health centre is currently seeking applications from individuals with knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
- Legal
- Human resources
- Patient and health care advisory
- Finance
Ideally, eligible candidates have a principal residence or business within the area serviced by the health centre, including the communities and surrounding areas of Kincardine, Walkerton, Chesley, and Durham. A full list of eligibility qualifications can be found on the health centre website.
