Say what you will about Bruce County winters. It is still beautiful and Tiverton looks like a Norman Rockwell painting. This is snowmobile weather so everyone, stay safe. Bundle up and have fun.
FAMILY LITERACY DAY IN TIVERTON
Come and celebrate Family Literacy Day at the Tiverton Library, Friday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. We'll be hosting a Family Storybook Trail with the Ontario Early Years Centre.
TIVERTON AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY NEWS
The Tiverton Agricultural Society's annual meeting is Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre at 7:30 p.m.. Everyone is welcome - come out and get involved a little or a lot, your choice. If we have to cancel due to the weather, it will be postponed to Tuesday, Feb. 2, same place and same time.

Euchre Party - Saturday, Feb. 6, 1:30-4 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre - Cash prizes! Everyone welcome! Cost is $4
Fiddle Tunes and Folk Songs by Eliza Jane - Sunday, Feb. 7, beginning at 2 p.m. A real Sunday Funday event filled with music, drinks, a home-cooked hot Ham Supper and lots of cheer! Line-up includes: Debbie Morris, Kenny McFarlane, Eldon McDowell, Bob Pilger, Larry Hunter, John MacDonald, Glenn MacKenzie, John Sanford, Jay Smith, Gerry Bailey, Mary Campbell, Jamie Hunter, and Thales and Sappho Hunter. Entertainment and drinks, 2-5 p.m. Dinner at 5 p.m. Cost for the entertainment only, $5; dinner only, $12; entertainment and dinner, $15. Contact: Dianne Todd at 519-368-7114, for tickets.
Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church News
There will be a Pancake Supper at the Knox Tiverton Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 5-7 p.m. It is sponsored by the Sunday School and Youth Group. Homemade pancakes, real maple syrup and local sausage will be served; cost is by donation, and all are welcome.
Also in celebration of Tiverton Winterfest the Hutton family will be hosting a chili lunch at the church, Sunday, Feb. 7, after Worship Service. All are welcome to this hearty chili lunch.
The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church Men's Group will be holding a soup luncheon, Monday, Jan. 25, at Noon. Donation at the door.
Birthday wishes to Marilyne Wilson on Jan. 27. Sorry, Marilyne, for spilling the beans but Bob put me up to it. Also celebrating birthdays, are Kerri Rice, Dawn Zettel, Dianne Todd and Anne McBride.
