St. Anthony’s parent council selling Kincardine Community Discount Cards
The St. Anthony’s School parent council is continuing to roll out amazing fund-raisers in support of creating new outdoor learning and shade spaces for the Kindergarten to Grade 8 students.
The parent council has brought back the Kincardine Community Discount Cards - a wonderful initiative that not only benefits the school and families, but also strengthens the community and supports local businesses.
Buy them for your household, and they also make perfect Christmas gifts for friends and family. By purchasing a Community Discount Card, you are helping build something meaningful and lasting for the students and the town.
Here are the details:
BUYING THE CARDS
The cards will be sold for $20 each, and are available from now until the end of January.
They are available on the school cash on-line for those who attend the school. For those who don’t have someone attending the school, they will also be available for sale by cash only at Now Playing Family Centre in Kincardine.
HOW THE CARDS WORK
Once you purchase a card, you are entitled to special promotions and discounts at more than 20 Kincardine businesses. The cards will be valid for unlimited use from Dec 1, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2026. In previous years, the cards were valid for a full calendar year (12 months); however, this year’s cards will be valid for 13 months to include this year’s Christmas shopping season.
HOW THEY BENEFIT THE SCHOOL, ITS FAMILIES, AND THE COMMUNITY
One hundred per cent of the funds raised from the purchasing of these cards, goes directly toward the school. For a small purchase price, the cards provide families with ongoing savings for an entire year when making purchases in Kincardine at the participating businesses. In return, by encouraging families to shop local, this campaign supports local businesses and increases their sales.
