Youth faces charges in intimate partner violence incident in Goderich
(GODERICH, ON) – Nov. 8, members of the Huron County OPP investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Town of Goderich.
As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed several criminal acts against the partner.
A 16-year-old youth of Central Huron has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
- Assault - Spousal - (two counts)
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm
- Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm - Spousal
- Mischief
The identity of the accused is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Youth Court of Justice - Goderich.
