Marjorie Middelkamp of Ripley remembered for her love of gardening, game shows and going for a drive
Marjorie Middelkamp (nee Ritchie) of Ripley, beloved wife of the late Albert Middelkamp, died at Kincardine Hospital, Tuesday, Dec. 2 2025, at the age of 83.
Born Sept. 5, 1942, in Owen Sound, she was the daughter of Jean (nee Splan) and Melvin Ritchie.
Mother of Ron (Carol) of Kincardine, Rob (Donna) of Seaforth, Mary (Henry) of Ripley, Angela (Laurent) Page of Ripley, Doug of Kincardine, Dan (Jenny) of Ripley and Amy Snobelen (Bertram Cronshaw) of Ripley.
Also greatly missed by her 13 grandchildren, Lisa, Steven, Ashley, Lesley, David, Luke, Nathan, Tim, Alayna, Josie, Cole, Eve and Carter; and great-grandchildren, Linnea, Rowan and Emerson.
Sister-in-law of Renske (Ed) Daer of Blyth, Winnie Pigeon of Matheson, Ria Middelkamp of Ripley, Kini (John) Meyer of Holyrood, Harlene Middelkamp of Ripley, Jake (Margo) Middelkamp of Goderich, and Marian Glen (Greg Nicholson) of Inverhuron.
Predeceased by her parents; her brother, Wayne; brothers-in-law, Bob Middelkamp, John Middelkamp, Allan Rutledge, John Ribbink, and Norm Pigeon; sister-in-law, Gay Rutledge; and son-in-law, Troy Snobelen.
Mom loved life on the farm, her pets, gardening, quilting, word searches, reading, travelling near and far, river cruises, the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band, going for a drive anywhere, and game shows.
