Students in Bluewater board get extra day off this year

Students in the Bluewater District School Board area will get an extra day off this year.

The 2015-16 calendar year has been revised to include an additional Professional Activity Day (PA Day) Friday, April 22.

According to a board press release, Friday, this addition is an outcome of recent provincial negotiations, where it was determined that the number of PA Days in school boards across the province would increase to seven from six per school year.

The extra PA Day is being communicated to parents, students and school communities throughout Bluewater District. The revised elementary and secondary 2015-16 school year calendars are available at the following link on the board website: www.bwdsb.on.ca/calendars.
