Tuesday brought lots of blowing and drifting snow to the Kincardine area but there were no road closures and no school bus cancellations.
However, it caused rather treacherous driving conditions throughout the area with heavy snow and high wind. Later, the area was hit with freezing rain, creating even more havoc for motorists.
The weather forecast calls for more snow tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week, with high wind and cold temperatures. Winter still doesn’t officially arrive until Dec. 21.
