Congratulations to the Kincardine Record for 11 years running a great on-line news source. Just a wonderful way to catch up on the news from home when travelling; thank you Liz and David.
Thank you to all the students from our elementary schools for the wonderful Christmas concerts and musical productions this last week! There is an amazing source of talent out there being trained and schooled for performances.
Thank you to our snow plow operators who have already put in hours of work trying to keep up with the snow load in our communities.
We extend our prayers and sympathy to the families of Earl Trelford of Hanover, Marion Avery of Kincardine and Julie Farrell of Kincardine.
Happy belated birthday greetings to Peyton Rombouts who is one year old, Lee Drennan, Nora Verkley and to Garry Farrell next week.
Several churches are celebrating Christmas Eve services and they invite you to come. The St. Andrew's United Church in Ripley’s service time is 7:30 p.m. A very Merry Christmas to everyone!
Last Saturday, a great crowd attended the Holstein non-motorized Christmas Parade in Holstein in spite of the snow and cold wind! Ripley-Huron Fall Fair ambassador Emery Harper and junior ambassador Kelsey Thompson represented the Ripley Agricultural Society at the Kincardine Santa Claus Parade, Nov. 29. We had lots of fun seeing the other floats and waving to everyone!
