Animal cruelty charge issued in Paisley
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - Dec. 18, at 10:06 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of intimate partner violence in Paisley.
Investigation revealed that a dispute occurred between two individuals at a residence, where the accused is alleged to have thrown a puppy across the room.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old resident of Brampton has been charged with:
- Mischief, CC 430(1)(c)
- Cruelty to animal, CC 445.1(1)(a)
The accused was taken into custody, and is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, at a later date.
