Grey Bruce Insurance Brokers Association donates to Huron Shores Hospice
The Grey Bruce Insurance Brokers Association has donated $2,500 to Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton.
Dec. 18, Carrie Charette and Manny Page of the association made the presentation to Cathy Herbert and Jessica Daneluk of the hospice.
Huron Shores Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care in a home-like environment to the residents of Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and Saugeen Shores and surrounding areas. The hospice operates two residential suites located at Tiverton Park Manor.
Beyond end-of-life care, the hospice offers a range of free programs, including Grief Recovery, End-of-Life Doula services, uplifting Death Cafes, and informative End-of-Life Planning workshops. These initiatives are an integral part of the hospice's commitment to normalize the conversation around dying and death and support those in the community needing grief and end-of-life support.
