Report of suspicious vehicles results in arrest of impaired driver
(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) - Dec. 23, at 10:29 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of suspicious vehicles at an address along Andrew Street in Teeswater.
Police attended and learned that vehicles had travelled up a private laneway, one of which slid off the embankment. Officers spoke with the driver and detected signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device was administered, resulting in a fail. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Kyle GALLAGHER, 38, of Southampton, was charged with Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80-plus, CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Feb. 4, 2026, to answer to the charge.
