Durham resident wins Kincardine Catch the Ace jackpot of almost $60,000
It was a fabulous Christmas surprise for Chris Weaver of Durham whose ticket was selected at the Kincardine Community Catch the Ace draw, Wednesday afternoon.
Weaver chose Envelope No. 30 which contained the Ace of Spades! This meant that he won the jackpot of $58,778.50!
On hand for the event, was Santa Claus who drew the winning ticket and opened the envelope to reveal the Ace of Spades.
This session of the Catch the Ace progressive lottery has ended, with a new session to start up in a few weeks.
The fund-raiser is in support of the Kincardine Legion, the Tiverton Lions Club, and Huron Shores Hospice.
