Blowing snow causes closure of Highway 21 in Kincardine area
Highway 21, from Port Elgin to Amberley, is closed due to blowing and drifting snow, and poor-to-no visibility.
Around Noon on Monday (Dec. 29), the South Bruce OPP closed the highway, from Kincardine to Amberley, for public safety due to a collision, as well as high wind, blowing snow and nil visibility.
By 12:23 p.m., the highway was closed all the way from Port Elgin to Amberley, due to the poor driving conditions.
For those who decide to travel, keep your headlights and tail-lights on and clear of snow and do not drive on a closed road.
Remember to keep your speed down. “If you see snow, go slow.”
