​Bruce County Road 1, north of Lucknow, closed due to blowing and drifting snow

The South Bruce OPP has closed Bruce County Road 1, from Highway 9 to Lucknow, as of 7:45 p.m., Monday, due to high wind, blowing snow, poor-to-no visibility, and stranded motor vehicles.

Highway 21, from Port Elgin to Amberley, remains closed, as does Highway 9, from Kincardine to Walkerton, due to poor driving conditions.

For those who decide to travel, keep your headlights and tail-lights on and clear of snow and do not drive on a closed road.

Remember to keep your speed down. “If you see snow, go slow.”
