RE: "Kincardine gives pre-budget approval to fixing municipal parking lot"
I see the municipality is going to spend some money on redoing the parking lot in Kincardine (east of the downtown).
Too bad council wouldn’t spend some money on Maple Street in Tiverton - it’s almost undriveable in April when the frost comes out. The municipality comes in and puts up temporary bump signs. The asphalt drops close to six inches in places.
I have a low-slung summer car - no need to insure it until May as I can’t get down the street with it. Even in summer, there are places I have to take on an angle so it doesn’t hit bottom.
But I bet the tourists will like the new lot after spending time trying to find the visitor information centre (downtown). Hope they have a seeing-eye dog, a compass and a lunch with them...
My two cents,
