Highway 9 and Highway 21 south re-opened in Kincardine area
As of 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, the South Bruce OPP reports that Highway 21, from Kincardine to Amberley, and Highway 9, from Kincardine to Walkerton, have been re-opened.

These two roads have been closed since Monday afternoon.

The following roads remain closed at this time due to blowing and drifting snow and poor driving conditions:

  • Highway 21, from Kincardine to Port Elgin
  • Bruce County Road 7, from Bruce County Road 86 to Highway 9
  • Bruce County Road 1, from Highway 9 to Lucknow

For those who decide to travel, keep your headlights and tail-lights on and clear of snow and do not drive on a closed road.

Remember to keep your speed down. “If you see snow, go slow.”
