Concerned citizen reports impaired driver in Brockton
(BROCKTON, ON) - Dec. 30, at 5:19 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a traffic complaint regarding a vehicle in the area of Bruce County Road 19 and Bruce County Road 4 in the Municipality of Brockton.
The complainant had spoken with another motorist and believed that the driver of the vehicle may be impaired. Officers patrolled the area and located the vehicle. The investigating officer spoke with the driver and detected signs of impairment. The driver was taken into custody and transported for further testing.
Erin LANGRIDGE, 60, of Guelph, was charged with Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Jan. 14, 2026, to answer to the charge.
