Highway 21, from Kincardine to Port Elgin, was finally re-opened Wednesday (Dec. 31) at 11 a.m., after being closed since Monday afternoon.
Highway 21, from Kincardine to Goderich, was re-opened Tuesday night (Dec. 30), as was Highway 9, from Kincardine to Walkerton.
Various other Bruce County roads were re-opened as well, with only Bruce County Road 7, from Ripley to Highway 9, still closed, due to poor driving conditions, with heavy snow-removal machinery on-site.
While the roads were re-opened, Highway 21, from Kincardine to Goderich, was in rough shape Wednesday afternoon, as blowing and drifting snow created drifts across the highway.

For those who decide to travel, keep your headlights and tail-lights on and clear of snow and do not drive on a closed road.
