And ... Highway 21 is closed again in the Kincardine area
Highway 21, from Amberley to Port Elgin, is closed again, due to blowing and drifting snow, and vehicles blocking the road, making it impassable.
As of 9:20 p.m., New Year's Eve (Wednesday Dec. 31), the South Bruce OPP has closed this section of road.
Highway 21, from Port Elgin to Amberley, was initially closed Monday afternoon due to poor driving conditions, with the section from Kincardine to Amberley re-opening Tuesday night, and the section from Kincardine to Port Elgin re-opening Wednesday morning.
Also remaining closed, are Bruce County Road 7, from Ripley to Highway 9; and Bruce County Road 4, from Teeswater to Wingham.
For those who decide to travel, keep your headlights and tail-lights on and clear of snow and do not drive on a closed road.
Remember to keep your speed down. “If you see snow, go slow.”
