Suspicious vehicle leads to arrest in Kincardine
(KINCARDINE, ON) - Jan. 15, at 1:02 a.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP was on general patrol in Kincardine when the officer stopped to check a vehicle that was parked and left running at Victoria Park.
The investigating officer spoke with the occupants and detected signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device was utilized on the driver which resulted in a fail. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Owen KIRK, 21, of Tiverton, was charged with Operation while impaired (B.A.C. 80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton, Feb. 11, to answer to the charge.
