Knox Kincardine donates $1,000 to Kincardine Food Bank, at soup lunch
More than 100 people enjoyed the community soup lunch, held Friday, at Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine.
The crowd had a good time, with 17 different crockpots of soup available, along with homemade bread, buns and cupcakes. Take-out was also an option. The event raised $1,453.05 for the church.
At the lunch, Rev. Dan West of Knox Kincardine presented a cheque for $1,000 to Jane Calcutt and Nan Grant of the Kincardine Food Bank.
