The board appreciates the valuable insights and support from the Workforce Planning Advisory Committee members, local partners, employers, interviewees, focus group participants, and employment services providers, and is grateful for the collaboration and support received during the data collection and consultation processes.
Through the research and discussions with local partners and community members, the board can provide a full understanding of the most pressing issues regarding the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region workforce. As a rural region, it experiences unique challenges from that of Ontario, and neighbouring regions. By providing evidence-based data, the board is supporting initiatives that are built and designed for local communities.
The board looks forward to working with its partners to find ways to support the growth and sustainability of local employers, employees, job seekers and service providers.
Local feedback is very important to the planning process, and the board encourages you to visit the website, access the reports and provide your input through the link provided for a short feedback survey.
