Purple Grove news

Gosh, where has all our snow gone? Hope it doesn’t come back with a vengeance.

It was great this past week to have such good roads for the Alzheimer Tea at RVilla. The community response was good and the fun and fellowship was even better. Sure did like those cookies that some of the residents made. What  great staff there!

Shirley MacDonald and Mary Anne Kukoly had a good visit with Norma Kempers, Wednesday.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to David Haldenby and family on the loss of his wife, Mary. She was such a lovely lady – we loved to see her smile.

Janet and Wayne Rhody hosted a family gathering recently. Marianne, Oliver, Skyler and her friend, Wayne, of Brampton, Mandy and Don Zuk and boys of Walkerton, and Michelle and children were all there.

Wilma Sutton visited with her sister, Pearl Hodgins, at Braemar in Wingham, Saturday.

We are sorry to hear of so many folks who are fighting illness. Get well soon!

Ladies and their fellows, please remember the Purple Grove Women's Institute meeting Wednesday afternoon.

Jim and Fran Farrell attended the Guelph Organic Conference, Saturday, and visited with family in Goderich, Sunday.

A couple of interesting thoughts – Diaper is Repaid spelled backwards, and Stressed is Desserts spelled backwards. Just thought you would like to know.
