"A Long Time Running: Kincardine Reunion Kick-Off Concert" set for June 13
The countdown to the 2028 Kincardine Reunion officially begins this summer with “A Long Time Running: Kincardine Reunion Kick-Off Concert,” Saturday, June 13, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
The evening will feature live music from "The Practically Hip," Canada’s premier tribute to "The Tragically Hip," bringing an unforgettable night of iconic Canadian rock to the community. Special guests include "Grey Road 1" and "Weekend Never Ends."
This concert marks the first major fund-raiser in support of the 2028 Kincardine Reunion, themed “Leading Us Home.”
This high-energy event is designed to bring residents, alumni, and visitors together in celebration of Kincardine’s strong community spirit and shared history. Proceeds from the concert will directly support programming, events, and activities planned for the 2028 Reunion, which is held every 10 years and draws generations of families back to the lakeshore.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. This is an age-of-majority event. Tickets are $30 each ($35 each at the door); available on-line at
ticketscene.ca/events/58520/.
Community members are encouraged to purchase early, as strong interest is anticipated.
The Kincardine Reunion committee invites everyone to be part of this exciting launch event as the community begins the journey toward 2028.
