Howard Siddon of Kincardine dies at the age of 97

Howard Albert Siddon of Kincardine died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at Brightshores Health System, Southampton, in his 98th year.

Beloved father of Shirley (John) Wall of Kincardine, Ron of Port Elgin, Rob of Kincardine, and Mark (Connie) of Orillia.

Cherished Grandpa of Laurie (Don), Sam (Jennifer), Natalie (Brandon), Matthew, Michelle (Kyle), Shane, and Stacey; and great-grandpa of Marley (Jason), Callie (Trevor), Jacob, Miya, Brock, Audrey, George, Brielle, and Olivia.

Remembered by his sister, Nancy Haldenby of Toronto; and many nieces and nephews.

Howard will be dearly missed by his friend, Donna Vanderburgh.

Predeceased by his wife, Marian (nee Kerry); sisters, Evelyn Siddon and Marie (James) McGillivray; and parents, Bert and Eliza (nee Colwell) Siddon.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. Reception to follow.

Spring interment, Kincardine Cemetery.
