Happy St. Patrick's Day and Highway 21 is closed, from Kincardine to Port Elgin, due to blowing and drifting snow.
The South Bruce OPP is reporting that as of 6:30 a.m., March 17, this section is closed for public safety, due to no visibility.
For those who decide to travel, keep your headlights and tail-lights on and clear of snow and do not drive on a closed road.
Remember to keep your speed down. “If you see snow, go slow.”

Environment Canada has issued a snow-squall warning for today (March 17), with hazardous travel conditions, near zero visibility in areas of heavy snow and blowing snow, local snowfall of 20-30 centimetres and wind gusts to 70 or 80 km/h.
The snow squalls are expected to slowly improve in the late afternoon, and ease in the evening.
