Dale Burrows of Kincardine remembered as gifted musician and friendly, warm-hearted man
Dale Arthur Burrows of Kincardine died peacefully, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine. He was 44.
Beloved husband of Jessica (nee Rutledge), and dear father of Alecsys.
Dale will be dearly missed by his brothers, Andrew, Tre, and Devon; cherished sister, Danielle (Alex) March; father, Daniel Burrows (Pam Campbell); grandfather, Ronald Burrows; mother, Moira (Mike) Trafford-Liebregts; parents-in-law, Ken and Deb Rutledge; and brother-in law, Travis.
Fondly remembered by nieces, Selena, Isabel, Illyana, and Eila; nephews, Cooper, Henry, and Oliver; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dale was a friendly, warm-hearted man who always had a smile or a wave for everyone. He was an accomplished musician who played in many bands, starting in his high school years and continuing right up to his illness.
He enjoyed sports, playing hockey growing up, and later, golf - especially evening outings on his golf cart with Alecsys.
Dale was a valued employee of Bruce Power, enjoying 20 years of fulfilling employment.
The family thanks the many doctors and nurses who cared for Dale at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, and Dr. Bella at the London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital.
He will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 183, Kincardine.
Private family interment, Kincardine Cemetery.
