Lyle Brock of Kincardine remembered for his quick wit and one-liners
Lyle William Brock of Kincardine died March 30, 2026, at the age of 87.

Greatly missed by his wife of 58 wonderful years, Sandra (nee Shaw); his son, Lyle Jr., and daughter-in-law, Melissa; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Amber (Owen) and Jamie (Hannah).

Also missed by his siblings, Harvey (Sharon), Grant (Heather) and Verna (Bud); and Sandra’s siblings, Heather (Grant), Brenda (Bruce) and John (Wendy); as well as his many nieces and nephews.

Lyle loved spending his time outside, gardening and always puttering away with something. He loved baking and was known for the best pumpkin pies.

He will also be remembered for his quick wit and one-liners. And he was always ready to lend a helping hand and share his wealth of knowledge on many different subjects.

As per Lyle’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.

The family thanks the PSWs and nursing staff for their dedicated home care, and the wonderful and caring staff members at Huron Shores Hospice for their compassionate care of Lyle.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton, in place of flowers, would be appreciated by the family.

Donations and condolences may be made on-line at www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com.
