Women's House receives donations from Kincardine Theatre Guild, Meridian Credit Union

The Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey has received two donations this past week.

The first was $2,600 raised by the Kincardine Theatre Guild through two showings of "The Vagina Monologues" on the weekend. The Bruce Steakhouse also supported this event by offering half-price appetizers to ticket holders in order to make it a complete night out. The Women's House is extremely grateful for the continued support from the communities it serves!

Secondly, Meridian Credit Union presented a donation of $5,000 to the Women's House. The funds come from Meridian’s Holiday Donation Facebook campaign which asked people to nominate their favourite charity. Women's House is grateful for the support from Meridian, as well as the community member or members, who believed enough in the work done by the women's shelter to nominate it for this amazing award!
