South Bruce OPP report impaired driver; and bicycle theft

IMPAIRED DRIVER LOSES CONTROL
 

(BRANT TWP, ON) – Feb. 11, at 8:05 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a single-vehicle crash along Bruce County Road 4 in Brant Township. 

Officers attended with members of the Walkerton Fire Department and Bruce Paramedic Services to find that a silver Honda Civic had left Bruce County Road 4 and travelled down an embankment before it came to rest. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. 

Twenty-year-old Cameron WAGNER of South Huron was charged with impaired driving, care or control over 80-milligrams and careless driving. He is scheduled to appear in court April 13, to answer to the charges.
 

POLICE INVESTIGATING BICYCLE THEFT
 

(WALKERTON, ON) – Feb. 8, at 6:38 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft from a residence along Huron Street in Walkerton. 

Sometime between 5 p.m. Feb. 7, and 6 p.m. Feb. 8, a light blue Devinci Cameleon bicycle was taken from a detached shed. The value of the stolen bike is estimated to be more than $700
.
