For the Love of Music and the Kincardine Messiah Society are proudly presenting an exciting concert, "Come Together: From Bach to Beatles," Thursday, June 25, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Kincardine United Church.
The concert will be performed by the "Thomas Beard and Friends" string quartet of Montreal, featuring Nicole Reid and Paul Earle.
Whether you’re a fan of the classical repertoire or the Beatles, this concert has something for everyone, including such pieces as Bach’s ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘Violin Concerto in D Minor’ for two violins, as well as ‘Come Together,’ ‘Yesterday,’ 'Here Comes the Sun,' and 'All You Need is Love’ by the Beatles, and many more.
The goal of this concert is to bring a unique musical experience to the community, one that features local artists, and raise money for the music program at the new Kincardine District Senior School.
Funds raised from ticket sales, and any donations at the door, will be used to purchase instruments and enhance the music program at the new school. The Kincardine Messiah Society is working with the current music department and the administration so funds raised will be used in the most effective manner.
Admission is $20, and youth (aged 18 and under) are admitted free! Tickets are available on-line at https://ticketscene.ca/events/60649/qrcode, and in person at Accents, and Wilder and Rain in downtown Kincardine, or through the Kincardine Messiah Society.
