Staff and students at Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School (KTTPS) have been hard at work showing their school spirit and commitment to the community through their participation in the “March to a Million” fund-raiser in support of enhancements at the new Kincardine District Senior School.
Their efforts have raised an impressive $1,500, demonstrating that even small steps can make a meaningful impact toward a much larger goal.
To celebrate each fund-raising milestone, students were rewarded with a series of fun and engaging activities that kept excitement high throughout the campaign.
The journey began with an extra recess, followed by a lively dance party that brought the whole school together. As the total continued to grow, students earned the chance to throw a cream pie into the face of 15 educators at the school, creating plenty of laughter and memorable moments. The celebration culminated in a full Day of Play, recognizing the incredible effort of the entire school community.
A special highlight of the Day of Play was the involvement of Grade 7 students from KDSS, who visited KTTPS to serve as centre leaders and group leaders. Their leadership and enthusiasm helped make the day a great success and gave younger students a glimpse of what it means to be part of the KDSS community.
KTTPS students are proud to support the future of education in their community, knowing they are future Knights who will one day walk the halls of the new KDSS high school.
