Join Huron-Kinloss Fire and Emergency Services for a free FireSmart Learning Session, Friday, July 10, from 2-6 p.m., at the Point Clark Lighthouse.

Discover simple ways to protect your property and improve emergency preparedness.

This drop-in event is part of the FireSmart Canada program and will share helpful information about preventing common fire hazards, including grass and brush fires.

Speak directly with members of Huron-Kinloss Fire and Emergency Services, ask questions about your property, and get practical tips to help keep your home and surroundings safe.

The event is free to attend and no registration is required. You can drop in any time between 2-6 p.m.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

• Simple ways to improve fire safety around homes, cottages, and properties

• Tips to help prevent grass and brush fires

• Guidance on avoiding common household fire hazards

• How to create a household emergency plan

• Where to find local emergency preparedness resources

The OPP will be in attendance to answer general questions about community safety.
