John Powers bringing popular produce stand back to Kincardine for summer

John Powers (above) of Chepstow and his popular fruit and vegetable stand are returning to Kincardine for the summer season.

Located in the parking lot beside the Sutton Park Inn, Powers Produce will open for business, Saturday, J
uly 4, and continue every Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cash only, please.

The business has been a part of Kincardine for more than 30 years. Originally, it sat in front of Darcie's Variety on Russell Street, before moving to Bruce Bowling Lanes on Broadway.

After the bowling alley was sold, Powers moved his produce stand to the Sutton Park Inn parking lot and his many faithful customers have found him there.
