Community Living of Kincardine and District will host its 18th annual Charity Golf Classic, Friday, July 27, at the scenic Ainsdale Golf Course, on Highway 21, south of Kincardine.
The event is presented by title sponsor 2M Power and change-maker sponsors NPX and Catalyst IT.
Thanks to the generous support of community partners, the tournament has remained the largest annual fund-raiser for Community Living. Over the past 17 years, funds raised from this event have served as a cornerstone for promoting inclusion, and helping to develop greater independence for supported individuals through social and life-skill building, job readiness, and employment opportunities.
The highly-anticipated event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with registration, driving range access, and lunch, followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Golfers will enjoy a full 18-hole scramble, featuring specialty holes, a putting contest, silent auction, and a formal dinner reception immediately following tournament play.
This year, all funds generated through the tournament will directly enhance dedicated programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as specialized initiatives for adults, aged 55 and older, across the region.
