South Bruce OPP investigating fatality in Brockton

(BROCKTON, ON) - July 13, at 3:31 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP, Grey County and Bruce County Paramedic Services, and the Brockton Fire Department responded to a serious collision at the intersection of Sideroad 10 South and Concession 4 East Brant, in the Municipality of Brockton.

The collision involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle. An involved passenger, a 61-year-old resident of Walkerton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Both involved drivers were transported to hospital with injuries.

The collision continues to be investigated by the South Bruce OPP with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team. Sideroad 10 South is closed between Concession 2 NDR and Concession 6 East. Concession 4 East Brant is closed between Sideroad 10 South and Bruce Road 19.
