STUNT-DRIVER NABBED IN BROCKTON
(BROCKTON, ON) - Friday, July 24, at 8:41 p.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP was patrolling Bruce County Road 3 in the Municipality of Brockton, when a vehicle was observed travelling at 135 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The vehicle was stopped, and the driver, a 35-year-old of Waterloo, was charged with:
Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt
Speeding 50-plus km/h over posted limit
A 30-day driver's licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment were initiated, with the driver facing a future court date.
STUNT-DRIVER CLOCKED AT 195 KM/H
(BROCKTON, ON) - Sunday, July 26, at 3:58 p.m., the South Bruce OPP was conducting proactive patrols along Highway 9 in the Municipality of Brockton, when a vehicle was observed travelling at 195 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The vehicle was stopped, and the driver, a 57-year-old of Gorrie, was charged with:
Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt
Speeding 195 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone
A 30-day driver's licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment were initiated, with the driver facing a future court date.
POLICE STOP STUNT-DRIVER IN SPEED ENFORCEMENT BLITZ
(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) - Sunday, July 26, at 8:14 p.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP was patrolling Bruce County Road 3 in the Municipality of South Bruce, when a vehicle was observed travelling at 116 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
The vehicle was stopped, and the driver, an 18-year-old of Stoney Creek, was charged with:
Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt
Speeding 50-plus km/h over posted limit
A 30-day driver's licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment were initiated, with the driver facing a future court date.

DRIVER CHARGED AFTER TRAFFIC COMPLAINTS
(KINCARDINE, ON) - A resident of Hanover has been charged with multiple impaired operation charges following multiple traffic complaints in the Municipality of Kincardine.
July 28, around 7:30 p.m., South Bruce OPP officers responded to several calls regarding a motor vehicle operating erratically on Highway 9 in Kincardine Township. Officers located the vehicle abandoned, and were, subsequently, able to locate and arrest the driver.
Hunter BRINDLEY, 21, of Hanover has been charged with:
Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired - blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus
Dangerous operation
Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code - two counts
Fail to comply with probation order
Young driver - B.A.C. above zero
Use plate not authorized for vehicle
Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
Owner operate motor vehicle without insurance
Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner
The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, Sept. 9.
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for 45 days, and the accused's driver's licence will remain suspended for an indefinite period.
