Nominations are now open for the Kincardine and District Chamber of Commerce's 2026 Community Achievement Awards.
Last year's Bruce Power Citizen of the Year was Wes Larson (above right, with Dwight Irwin of Bruce Power).
The awards committee invites all residents to nominate worthy individuals and businesses to receive recognition in 15 different categories including:

Education and Youth Programming
Quality of Life
Good Neighbour
Young Entrepreneur
Agricultural Business of the Year
Environmental
Downtown Kincardine Ambassador
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Youth Citizenship
Woman of Distinction

Business of the Year
Citizen of the Year
Nominating a worthy recipient is easy with an on-line portal accessible on the chamber's website at kincardinechamber.org/nominations-now-open-for-2026-caa/.

Nominations close Aug. 21, so get your nominations in today.
Once nominations are collected, all names are redacted, the nominations for each category are reduced to the top three as assessed by the committee. These are sent (with names still redacted) to an outside third-party chamber of commerce to select this year’s award recipients.
The awards will be presented at a gala night, Oct. 8, at Ainsdale Golf Course.
