The Kincardine senior ladies' baseball team, "Scared Hitless," has donated $500 to Huron Shores Hospice. The presentation was made to executive director Cathy Herbert and community develompent worker Sophie Nancekivell, Tuesday, at the ball field.
The ladies each pay $2 per week to play ball, and decided that the hospice was an excellent place for their donation.
The team is a great group of ladies who enjoy playing baseball for the exercise and, more importantly, to socialize and have fun. The team meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m., on the front diamond at Connaught Park, Kincardine.
If you are interested in joining or have any questions, contact Liz at 519-389-8121 or Sue at 519-396-2804.
