Louise Wessels of Kincardine dies at the age of 93

Catherine "Louise" Wessels (nee MacDonald) of Kincardine, died at the Kincardine Hospital, Aug. 9, 2026, in her 94th year.

Beloved mother of Ann Green (Ken).

Cherished by her grandchildren, who were the loves of her life, Justin (Juliana) Green, Nicolas (Karly) Green, and Lee (Shannon) Wessels.

Lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Carter, Bowen, Madison, Katherine, Nathan, L.J., Alexia, and Nathan.

Predeceased by her husband, Bill Wessels; son, Steven Wessels; grandson, Cody Wessels; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Green; whose memories she carried with her.

Louise and Bill owned Wessels Paint and Wallpaper for many years, making them well-known figures in the Kincardine community, although Louise considered Tiverton and Inverhuron her hometown.

The family thanks the staff at Trillium Court Seniors' Community, Kincardine, and Dr. Gary Gurbin for their compassion and kindness. Louise is now at peace.

At Louise’s request, cremation has taken place, and there will be a private family service at a later date.
