Helen Carr of Tiverton dies at the age of 78

Helen Kathleen Carr of Tiverton died peacefully, surrounded by family, Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, in her 79th year.

Beloved mother of Kevin, and Laurie (Bert) Malcolm, both of Tiverton.

Cherished by her grandchildren, Meleesa, Rachel (Dean), and Andrew (Kirstyn), and great-grandchildren, Grace, Blake, and Reid.

Helen will be missed by her siblings, Merv (Jeanette) Catto of Sarnia, Nute Catto of Kincardine, Donna (Fred) Schular of Hamilton, Don Catto of Tara, Gary (Shirley) Catto, and Linda (Gerry) Brooks, both of Kincardine, and Lloyd Catto, and Ken (Deb) Catto, both of Tiverton, and remembered by the extended Carr Family, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, James; brothers, Ron and Wayne Catto; sisters-in-law, Margie Catto, Lorraine Catto, and Sue Catto; and her parents, Jack and Kathleen (nee MacArthur) Catto.

The family extends appreciation and thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, for their compassionate care of Helen.
