Kincardine Theatre Guild receives 15 nominations, four wins for "Peter Pan, The Pantomime"

The Kincardine Theatre Guild received 15 nominations and four awards from the Western Ontario Drama League, for its out-of-festival production of "Peter Pan, The Pantomime," which was staged last fall.

Matt Harvey won the award for best supporting actor (actress?) as the Dame, Miss Smee.

Shirley Bieman won for best director.

Dylan Trahan and Barry Neilson won a special adjudicator's award for outstanding achievement in a "double act."

Chelsea Smith and Samantha Lane won a special adjudicator's award for outstanding achievement in make-up and hair/wigs.

The show was also nominated for the following:
 

  • John Low – Best Actor
  • Barry Neilson – Best Supporting Actor
  • Best Ensemble
  • Best Visual Production
  • Carson Rutledge – Best Juvenile
  • Juliana Rutledge – Best Newcomer
  • Best Visually Co-ordinated Costumes of Non-Rental Nature
  • Best Sound Design and Execution
  • Best Lighting Design and Execution
  • Best Set Design and Execution

 

Nominated for Special Adjudicator Awards:
 

  • Stage Management Team – Caroline Gorski, Margaret Visser, Liz Small and Sylvia Berg


Adjudicator Sandy Macdonald made special mention (but had run out of awards) of the choreographers of the show.
