Kincardine Bulldogs suffer second loss of season, 4-2, to Clinton

The Kincardine Bulldogs took on the newest team in the Pollock Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL), the Clinton Radars, Saturday night, Sept. 19, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, and suffered their second loss of the season, 4-2

Clinton opened the scoring late in the first period before Ayden Hakkers tied it at 1-1 for the 'Dogs, on a powerplay effort, assisted by Jackson Hayward-Nelson and Ty McQuillin.

The Radars scored two unanswered goals in the second to take a 3-1 lead.

In the third period, Kincardine's Tristan Steven scored from Tyler Kelly and Cameron Robillard to bring the Bulldogs within one, but Clinton scored an empty-netter, with just seconds remaining, to take the 4-2 win.

The Bulldogs are travelling this weekend, taking on the Hanover Barons, Saturday; and the Fergus Whalers, Sunday.

Their next home games are Friday, Oct. 2, against Hanover, at 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 3, against Walkerton, at 7:30 p.m., at the  Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
