Sunny weather for lots of sheep in the Ripley-Huron Fall Fair Parade

Perfectly matching the Ripley-Huron Fall Fair theme, “Meet Ewe at the Fair,” the parade saw float after float awash in sheep of every size and description!

Typically, the event was greeted by warm, sunny weather as a huge crowd gathered in downtown Ripley for the mammoth parade.

And it was mammoth, with numerous floats, antique and vintage vehicles, trucks and tractors, as well as individuals, groups and organizations.

The Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band led the parade as it left the soccer fields on Park Street, marching through downtown Ripley to the fairgrounds.

Among the dignitaries, were Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb, Huron-Kinloss mayor Don Murray, and the newly-crowned fair ambassador Joslynn Curran and junior ambassador Cassandra Bridge, as well as the Bruce Shriners, the Teeswater Highlanders Pipe Band, the Ripley Lions Club, Rosewood RVilla residents, the David and Shirley Lowry family, and much more.
