Ripley Lions assist with Christmas Giving program again this year

By: Liz Dadson  October 3, 2026  65

Once again, this year, the Ripley and District Lions are pleased to assist those in Huron Township who need some extra help at Christmas.

Individuals or families may be referred through schools, community service agencies or churches. Referrals must be received by Nov. 26, and the delivery date for gifts will be Thursday, Dec. 3.

Each individual/family will receive a gift card for groceries; children under the age of 18, who reside in the family home, will receive a gift card of choice.

The Christmas Giving program is funded by the generous donations of individuals, service

groups, churches, and businesses in the community. The Lions welcome donations of cash or gift cards. Cheques can be made out to Ripley Lions Hampers, and can be dropped off at the Ripley Pharmacy, or E-transfers may be sent to ripleylionshampers@gmail.com.

For questions about donations to the Christmas Giving program, contact Mark on his cell phone at 905-328-9392.

Thank you for making this a happier Christmas for individuals and families in the community.
