Korean War veteran Eugene Harrison dies at the age of 89
Korean War veteran Eugene Harrison of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of Jean Harrison (née Lamont).

Dear father of Joanne Prokop of St. Catharines; Karen (Roland) Egilson of Penticton, B.C.; and Dale (Annie) Harrison of Kerrville, Texas. Loved grandpa of Zach Prokop and Chelan Egilson.
Predeceased by his brothers, Roy (Edna), Jack (Hilda), Bill (Peg) and Lorne Harrison; and his sisters, Marg (Charlie) Merritt and Helen Buckingham.

Survived by his sisters-in-law, Tess Harrison of Dorchester, Norma Harrison of London, Mary Ann (Gerald) Kemple of Riversdale, and Helen (Joe) Brick of St. Clements; and his brothers-in-law, Clifford Buckingham of Kincardine, Donny (Joan) Lamont and Allan (Wendy) Lamont, all of Riversdale, and several nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by his sisters-in-law, Grace (Jerry) Spicer, Dorothy (Wally) Forsyth and Liz (Gordie) Spark.

Eugene served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the Kincardine Legion. He received the Order of Kincardine medal in 2011.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Saturday, March 5, 2016, from 2-4 p.m., and Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jim Weir officiating.
Interment, Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
